An FYI on taxis from the airport
Just to let people know, when you take a cab from the Logan airport, they add $6.50 in fees to the fare. I found that out firsthand this morning...

In light of the Ted Williams tunnel being closed, I'd recommend taking the subway or the silver line buses instead.
There's a nice public transit Trip Planning interface on http://www.mbta.com/ .
From the airport you take the silver line (which is actually a bus with a dedicated tunnel like a subway) start to the Seaport hotel or you can take it to the orange line which will let you connect with where ever else you maybe be staying...
